Ronald Lapointe Architecte was created in 1976. It has always been a versatile firm, which has carried out projects in both the public and private sectors. It operates primarily in the Madawaska, Victoria and Restigouche regions of the province of New Brunswick.
Ronald Lapointe was seeking to pass the torch to a local architect to continue what he had built for more than 44 years.
For the owner of the business, it was important that his employees would be able to keep their jobs and that specialized architectural services would still be available to the public.
Kim Savage worked for Ronald Lapointe Architecte for several years early in her career. The two architects have always maintained a good relationship. From one conversation to the next, Kim Savage saw the possibility of becoming the owner. This architectural firm was well known to her and the project seemed achievable as part of her career path.
Guided by her passion for the architectural profession and the management experience she gained over the years, she purchased the firm and took over the company.
